JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer Test Automation Associate in Columbus, OH to design and deliver trusted automation across multiple domains within the Corporate Technology HR Workforce Technology Testing Center of Excellence Team.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
Hands-on experience using enterprise AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment with ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling.
Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle.
Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Version Control (Bitbucket, GIT) and Security.
Must have expertise in Test Automation and various testing types.
Proficiency in SQL/Test data management.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, etc.
Knowledge of Java.
BDD / TDD expertise
Oracle HCM testing or configuration experience.

Responsibilities

Executes test automation software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
Creates secure and high-quality test automation code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity (e.g., code. generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
Produces test automation architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring quality software code development.
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops test data solutions in support of test automation and global quality coverage from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in code quality and data via test automation solutions to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contributes to software engineering test automation communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
Collaborate closely with technology teams for BDD implementation.
Conduct automation feasibility studies and derive ROI.
Apply practical experience in test automation with JAVA, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, API testing, and database knowledge, with familiarity in one or more automation tools.
