Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a software test automation engineer to advance our automation capabilities in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.

The role focuses on Java-based test automation, Selenium, BDD/TDD, API testing, and data-driven strategies to ensure high-quality software across systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage enterprise AI tools to improve code quality and delivery velocity.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

Executes test automation software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems.
Creates secure, high-quality test automation code and data generation.
Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
Produces test automation architecture and artifacts for complex applications.
Gathers and analyzes test data from large datasets for quality coverage.
