Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a fast-paced, growth-focused team. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable features across frontend and backend stacks, leveraging Claude or similar LLM tools to boost productivity and research.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to implement robust solutions, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers. A strong emphasis on high standards and impactful delivery is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Familiarity with React frontend development preferred; Go backend experience.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL).
• Knowledge of automated testing (unit/integration/e2e) and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain new features for the company platform.
• Collaborate with product owners to gain insight and improve features.
• Participate in design/architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Hands-on with codebase and contribute to code reviews.
• Mentor engineers and support junior teammates.
• Help plan, estimate, and drive project completion.
• Be on-call rotation to respond to production incidents.
