Job summary

CAI Cox Automotive Corp Svcs., LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, build, test, and maintain .NET/C# services and React + TypeScript apps on the Central Dispatch platform, using AI-assisted development to improve coding, testing, and documentation.

You will participate in design and architecture discussions, break requirements into estimable tasks, write high-quality tests, and develop RESTful and event-driven services (AWS SQS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2 years of experience or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience building web applications with C#/.NET and React with TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS), containerization (Docker), and PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical thinking, requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and systems integration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain technical concepts.
• Comfortable applying AI‑assisted tools across the SDLC while validating AI output.
• On‑site Atlanta candidate; rotational on‑call duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain .NET/C# services and React + TypeScript apps using AI tools.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions; clarify options and outcomes.
• Break requirements into estimable tasks; sharpen estimates with AI.
• Write high‑quality code with unit/integration tests and validate AI output.
• Build and consume RESTful and event‑driven services (AWS SQS) to keep data in sync.
• Apply secure coding practices and use AI‑enabled scanning to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot with observability tools (New Relic, Splunk) and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Modernize legacy components through refactoring; maintain cloud infra and CI/CD (AWS, Terraform/CDK, Docker).
• Contribute insights from AI‑assisted workflows to improve team practices.
• Document patterns and processes; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
