Job summary

CAI Cox Automotive Corp Svcs., LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve our Common Consumer platform. You will work across back-end services, data resources, and consumer UIs, leveraging Claude Code and spec-driven development to drive high-impact features for millions of car shoppers and sellers.

The role requires hands-on experience with C#/.NET, AWS event-driven architectures, and modern databases like MongoDB Atlas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and spec-driven workflows is preferred.
• Hands-on production experience with C# / .NET and AWS event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a core engineer delivering platform capabilities and consumer UIs.
• Drive epics and features from well-structured specifications co-authored with AI.
• Review and refine Claude Code outputs and maintain code quality.
• Design and evolve cloud infrastructure using Terraform across multi-account AWS.
• Mentor engineers and shape team engineering practices.
