Job Description

Pinterest, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer II in Seattle, WA to:

  • Build and enhance the entire ads stack, including frontend interfaces, APIs, and backend services to create solutions that assist advertisers with conversion ingestion and validation.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to develop end-to-end functionalities.
  • Propose new product ideas and features.
  • Implement automated testing to ensure high technical quality of features, taking responsibility for the components developed.
  • Work on large-scale, distributed systems and networks, designing, developing, and operating them.
  • Engage with engineering customers to understand and address new requirements efficiently and scalably.
  • Improve the developer process and experience across all phases, from coding to operation.

Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, with two years of relevant experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with five years of relevant experience.
Special Skills
  • Java, Python, React, Node.js, Git, Jenkins, Spark, SQL, Numpy, AWS, Docker

Any combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $194,250 to $244,872 per annum, with standard company benefits.
