Overview

The Engineering team at LegalZoom builds user interfaces, features, applications, and tools for our customers. We’re experiencing growth and seek talented developers who share our vision of supporting small business success. This role is ideal for a creative individual with strong engineering skills, opinions on good product and design flows, comfort with ambiguity, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll help enhance the LegalZoom experience and inspire the team by producing high-quality work focused on customer needs.

• Build software solutions that meet and exceed targets for reliability, scalability, security, maintainability, and performance
• Develop and define the architecture and tech stack for product experiences
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Technical Operations, Data Science, and others
• Debug production issues across services and stack levels
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

You have

• At least 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent experience
• A passion for creating high-impact, well-performing user experiences across devices
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with technologies like React/Redux, Docker, Github Actions, GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL
• Desire or experience working collaboratively with design, product, and data science teams
• Experience mentoring engineers

LegalZoom is a remote-first company with a salary range of $92,700 - $154,500, depending on various factors. Compensation may include bonuses, stock units, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k with matching, paid time off, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, and wellness benefits.
