Job Overview

In this role, you will be involved in the technical development of multiple front-end applications. You will be part of a dynamic group of designers and engineers where agility, teamwork, and creative thinking are highly valued. You will drive the creation, evolution, and implementation of products such as UI components, our design system, and explore new technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills with both business and technical acumen.

As a Software Engineer, you will build web applications that are successfully delivered to customers, providing practical and efficient user experiences. You will communicate with stakeholders, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements, describe software features, technical designs, and product strategy. You will handle full-stack design and development, focusing on client-side engineering.

Job Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement applications to meet business needs, considering how systems are implemented to satisfy user goals.
• Coordinate with other platforms and the design team to ensure alignment of user experience and designs.
• Be responsible for entire systems or features, including reviewing requirements, generating designs, estimating, implementing, testing, releasing, and supporting.
• Develop, review, and revise procedures for high-quality system development.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, progressing independently and proposing new projects to meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and support systems not directly implemented by you.
• Provide guidance and training to team members.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure code quality.
• Share architecture insights with the team and stakeholders.
• Stay informed of technical advances and propose relevant changes.
• Research business opportunities with minimal direction.
• Participate in testing beyond unit testing, such as integration and capacity testing.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Angular/AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with Git or similar source control systems.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and technical leadership.
• Ability to drive cross-team solutions with complex dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, Spring.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
