Perform requirements gathering, design, development, and documentation, leveraging an in-depth understanding of operating systems and computer architecture. Support QA and L3 support. Use advanced database management principles to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for Anaplan’s applications. Set operational specifications, analyze software requirements, modify existing software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance. Develop software tools to empower development teams, and build and deliver distributed systems to automate and scale Anaplan’s platform globally across a Hybrid Multi-cloud environment. Document new features, creatively solve complex issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet deadlines. Drive improvements for Anaplan’s CI/CD pipelines, manage jobs and dependencies, and work on a complex build system communicating with AWS/GCP in a Kubernetes environment. Remote work is permitted.
Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field.
Skills and coursework must include: Object-Oriented Programming for code readability and reusability; Developing RESTful applications and microservices; Using data structures and algorithms to enhance performance, fix bugs, and develop features; Agile experience as a Scrum Master; Performing test automation such as unit testing (Junit); Utilizing RDBMS skills for CRUD operations via backend services.
