Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Software Engineer I for our Painted Post, NY location to develop high-quality software systems for measurement, inspection, data collection, and reporting in manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, work with C#, Python, C++, and web frameworks, and contribute to CI/CD and QA processes. Bachelor’s in a related field and 0–3 years experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in software/related engineering field; Master's encouraged.
• 0-3 years of development in a multi-disciplined team.
• OO design and analysis experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB and Web Services.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue/React/Angular.
• Experience with Git/GitLab/SubVersion/Visual SourceSafe and SDLC concepts.
• Strong problem solving and QA skills; data analysis experience.
• Experience with enterprise applications and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems for measurement, inspection, data collection and reporting.
• Design and debug software for high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Interface sensors, cameras, and implement data processing logic.
• Resolve software issues and drive improvements and enhancements.
• Follow software development practices to ensure timely project delivery.
