Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Software Engineer I for a prominent client in Painted Post, NY. This on-site assignment spans 12 months with potential extension based on budget and performance.

You will develop software for measurement, inspection, data collection, machine vision, and reporting, and collaborate on design, development, and debugging for high-volume manufacturing activities. Strong OO design and modern web-technology experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/CE or related field; 0-3 years development experience
• OO design and object-oriented analysis
• Experience with C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, Web Services, Micro Services
• Familiarity with JS frameworks (Vue/React/Angular) and TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Develop software for measurement, inspection and data collection systems
• Interface sensors, motion, lighting and cameras; implement data processing logic
• Design, develop and debug software for high-volume manufacturing environments
• Follow SDLC practices and ensure QA and testing
• Resolve software issues and drive improvements
