Job summary

SimpliSafe is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the User Systems team to develop and maintain cloud-based backend systems powering our native mobile apps. You will work within a cross-functional group of frontend & backend engineers, QA, and product managers to design, test, deploy, and maintain backend services.

The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and scalability, with on-call rotation and a strong focus on high-quality design and testing.

The target annual base pay range for this role is $75,100 to $100,100

This target annual base pay range represents our good‑faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. We use a market‑based compensation approach to set our target annual base pay ranges and make adjustments annually. We carefully tailor individual compensation packages, including base pay, taking into consideration employees’ job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and other relevant business factors.
