Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an SDE-I in the United States (Los Angeles area) to design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native services that impact millions of customers. You will own code end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and grow through mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work on distributed systems, leverage GenAI tools to boost productivity, and participate in CI/CD practices with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's in CS/CE/Data Science or related STEM field.
• Experience with at least one modern programming language and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and operate scalable products and services.
• Develop cloud-native solutions and microservices in a large distributed environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build resilient systems, monitor production, and troubleshoot issues.
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to boost development productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and patterns.
• Work in an agile CI/CD environment with on-call responsibilities.
