Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Salt Lake City area focused on aerospace and defense applications. You will contribute to software development across architecture, design, integration, testing, and field support for U.S. Government systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams.
• Once cleared, work on actual field deployments of the product under development, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
• Work will be performed with guidance of a product lead and team members who will assist in establishing an approach.
• Perform code review and support in testing to achieve long-range goals and objectives.

Our team has a need for a Software Engineer who is inspired by a job that challenges them to be proactive, make decisions, and generate ideas that drive product development to greater heights. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support. You will contribute to the build, test, and delivery of a set of software applications to be deployed to advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of concepts related to standard programming practices, software architecture, and networking.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
