RTX’s Collins Aerospace SIGINT team in Salt Lake City, UT seeks an Infrastructure Engineer I to work onsite on complex software and systems. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and involves participation in cross‑discipline product teams using agile practices.

You’ll contribute across architecture to deployment, with Linux, Python and C/C++ tooling, and gain exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Git, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with C/C++ or other OO programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-disciplined IP teams using agile methods to plan, design, develop, test and integrate complex software and systems.
• Work on the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, including field support.
• Address highly innovative technical problems with guidance from a product lead and teammates.
• After clearance, assist in proper setup, configuration and functionality of deployed systems.
• Support code reviews, testing, and long-range objectives with the team.

This position will be staffed in Salt Lake City, UT.

• Typical job functions for the Infrastructure Engineer I include participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and tools to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, flight test, and field support.
• Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams.
• Once cleared, work on actual field deployments of the product under development, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
• Work will be performed with guidance of a product lead and team members who will assist in establishing an approach, perform code review and support in testing to achieve long-range goals and objectives.

• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
