Job summary

Jobtailor in Arizona is seeking a Software Engineer to assist Product Development Teams in the Symitar development environment, helping to translate business outcomes into robust features and user stories.

You will collaborate with development teammates, apply design principles and coding standards, and contribute to SDLC, Agile and DevOps practices while continually learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• At least one year of professional Symitar development experience preferred.
• Experience with unit testing, change/configuration management preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps and SDLC practices preferred.
• Familiarity with operating systems, testing tools, and modeling tools preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assists Product Development Teams in Symitar engineering to achieve business outcomes.
• Participates in core feature and user story development with team members.
• Designs Symitar solutions to satisfy technical requirements.
• Writes and completes user stories and product features using Symitar knowledge.
• Applies design principles and patterns to develop robust product capabilities.
• Engages with teammates to provide assistance with architecture, coding standards, and system issues.
• May verify the work of engineers or technicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned in support of team results.
