Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Software Engineer I to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions supporting business objectives. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager and work from our Richmond, Virginia location on a hybrid schedule.

In this role, you will develop robust software applications that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, while collaborating with a diverse team and supporting our employees to perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 0-2 years of experience in software development or related technical roles.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python, with familiarity in software development tools and version control systems.
• Knowledge of software debugging, testing methodologies, and collaborative development environments.
