Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Software Engineer I to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software for mission-critical defense applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering/technical degree.
• 0-2 years’ experience in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution, requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing.
• Experience with C++ and/or Java; familiarity with RedHat Enterprise Linux and git.

Responsibilities

• Participates in an Agile development process to produce reliable software solutions for mission-critical systems.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to problems.
• Participates in UI, Infrastructure and back-end development.
• Interfaces with Management, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Test Engineers to generate thorough investigations and solutions to problems.
• Is self-motivated to explore solutions to software issues and can communicate them with the team.
