Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, test and maintain scalable web services using C# with ASP.NET and HotChocolate. You will optimize code, queries, and distributed design while building developer tools in C# and Python.

Collaborate with engineers, PMs and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high quality software. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in OO languages, JS/React, REST APIs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field.
• 1 year of software development experience in object oriented languages.
• 1 year of web development experience with JavaScript and React.
• 1 year of experience with REST API frameworks, distributed systems, Linux, Git, Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain web services at scale with C# and ASP.NET.
• Optimize application code, database queries, and distributed system design.
• Build command line or web-based developer tools using C# and Python.
• Troubleshoot systems including operating systems, deployment, and applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to define requirements.
