Job summary

The Trade Desk is a global technology company seeking a Software Engineer I in Bellevue, WA to design, develop, test and maintain web services at scale using C#, ASP.NET and HotChocolate. You will optimize code, deploy and troubleshoot systems while collaborating with product teams to deliver robust software.

Qualifications include a BS in CS or related field and 1 year in OO languages, 1 year of JS/React web development, REST APIs, distributed systems, Linux, Git, Python, SQL, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field.
• 1 year of experience in Object Oriented languages.
• 1 year of web development with JavaScript and React.
• 1 year of experience with REST API frameworks, distributed systems, Linux (Git), Python and shell scripting, SQL queries, client-server architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain web services at scale with C# and ASP.NET/HotChocolate.
• Optimize code, queries, and distributed design to reduce infra costs.
• Build dev tools using C# and Python and troubleshoot systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Provide guidance to new developers and participate in code reviews.
• Plan and execute projects with clear priorities, KPIs, and ROIs.
• Contribute to monitoring, testing and validation tools.
• Implement features and fixes following modern software engineering practices.
