The Chamberlain Group LLC, located in Oak Brook, IL, seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain middleware for the myQ platform. You will work in a collaborative team using Agile methodologies to translate product requirements into scalable software for IoT applications.

Responsibilities include coding standard adherence, peer reviews, and contributing to security compliance, with in-office work three days a week. A BS in CS or equivalent and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Less than 1 year experience for candidates meeting the education requirement.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic understanding of OOP and REST.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality, maintainable and scalable software for IoT applications.
• Work using Agile methodologies such as Scrum to develop middleware.
• Participate in peer reviews and pull requests to ensure high quality software.
• Collaborate with scrum team members to ensure requirements traceability from definition to implementation.
• Partner with senior engineers to implement features of limited scope.
