Job summary

ITW's Buehler division seeks a Software Engineer to scope, develop, and maintain complex software for electromechanical equipment. The role requires in-office work with hybrid options and collaboration with global teams in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have a 3+ year software background, strong C# or C++ skills, and experience in Agile/Scrum, with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of software development.
• Strong OO programming in C# or C++ and production-quality software experience.
• Experience in Agile development environments and Scrum processes.
• Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, operations and support teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for the software team and drive continuous improvement.
• Establish technical vision and design specifications for complex software.
• Partner with product to develop roadmaps for multiple software platforms.
• Design, develop and test software to deliver high-quality products.
• Coach others on best practices and development methodologies.
• Support service and application teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
