Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with hands-on manufacturing automation experience and strong C, C++, and C# skills on the Microsoft platform. You will contribute to a mission-critical FactoryTalk suite across server, database, and web tiers, joining a collaborative team focused on modernising software architecture for Rockwell Automation customers.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, work with cross-functional teams, and apply best practices in full-stack

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; we will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software components using C, C++, and C# in a Windows environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Support full-stack development across database, server, and web components as needed.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and use Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Use Git/GitHub or similar tools for source control, branching, and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable code and support CI/CD processes.
• Leverage generative AI tools across the software development lifecycle.
