Job summary

Investure is seeking a software engineer to build and support internal tools used across investment, accounting, and data analysis workflows. You will develop user-focused solutions, leveraging relational databases and OO design to deliver scalable systems.

Collaboration with senior engineering leadership and cross-functional partners is essential. Ideal candidates have strong fundamentals, experience with Python/C# and React, and comfort using AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience in a financial domain.
• Experience with relational data models, SQL, and time-series data is preferred.
• Experience with internal tools for investment, accounting, or data workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain internal software tools for investment, accounting, reporting, and data analysis workflows.
• Model, query, and transform financial data using relational databases.
• Collaborate with investment, accounting, and operations teams to gather requirements.
• Iterate based on user feedback and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply OO design to create maintainable, scalable systems.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines, integrations, and reporting processes.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while ensuring security and quality.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, testing, and system support.
