Invesco seeks a Principal Engineer to join a technology team embedded with our Custom Separately Managed Accounts business. You will work with Functional leads, business partners, and developers to build and deliver on financial systems roadmaps with a focus on speed, quality, automation, and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of application development and enterprise solution delivery.
• Advanced Python, Git, and Bitbucket Pipelines experience.
• AWS services including Lambda, S3, EKS, SQS.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm experience.
• Scheduler technologies: Autosys, Airflow, etc.
• Experience with third‑party libraries and APIs (MuleSoft, ESB/EDI).
• Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
• Collaborate with business partners and developers to deliver on roadmaps.
• Create and review detailed solution designs aligned with business goals.
• Plan and run solution design workshops for requirements assessment.
• Promote DevOps and Agile delivery; reduce technical debt while improving speed.
• Perform QA testing including unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Document system functions and cross‑functional processes.
• Provide consulting support on processes and systems issues.
