Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to embedded software for current and future aircraft. This contract role requires an active Secret security clearance and work in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include requirements generation, design and implementation of embedded software for vehicle management, and integration and flight testing with Linux/RTOS toolchains. Collaboration in an Agile team using Git, Jira, and Python scripting is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance to start.
• "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR.
• Experience with C/C++ for embedded software development.
• Experience with Linux/RTOS and toolchains.
• Experience developing software for embedded real-time systems.
• Experience with Systems Engineering: requirements, use cases, data flows.
• Experience integrating hardware and software for embedded systems.
• Experience working in an Agile software development team.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Experience with IP, UDP, RTP networking.
