Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Software Development Engineer to maintain and enhance software supporting hardware testing and validation. You will analyze hardware test data, develop visualizations, and build data processing pipelines while collaborating with hardware and software teams.

This onsite role in Redmond, WA requires a hands-on approach to improve reliability and workflows. The position is contract through December 31, 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension into 2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering or related experience.
• Strong experience working in Linux-based environments.
• Proficiency in Python development and scripting.
• Experience supporting or maintaining existing codebases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, build systems, or software build pipeline processes.
• Experience processing, analyzing, and visualizing technical or test data.
• Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Experience working closely with hardware systems, testing environments, or hardware-generated data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software applications and tools.
• Analyze, process, and interpret hardware test data to identify trends and insights.
• Develop data visualizations and reporting solutions to communicate test results effectively.
• Build and maintain data processing workflows and pipelines.
• Support and improve software build and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to optimize testing efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, change control processes, and software development best practices.
