Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team and support hardware-integrated software solutions. The role focuses on test automation, backend development, and debugging software that communicates with embedded systems and physical devices.

The ideal candidate has experience with Python, C/C#/C++, Linux, and automated testing, plus familiarity with Raspberry Pi and IoT hardware integration. You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, C, C++, or C# development.
• Hands-on Linux experience.
• Experience with automated testing and test frameworks.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, IoT devices, or hardware integration.
• Ability to read, understand, and extend existing codebases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for hardware-integrated systems.
• Build and maintain backend functionality supporting device communication and testing workflows.
• Debug Python, C, C++, or C# applications running in Linux environments.
• Interface with Raspberry Pi devices and validate hardware behavior through software applications.
• Identify, document, and resolve defects across software and hardware components.
• Contribute to system-level testing and validation efforts.
• Extend and enhance existing applications and codebases.
