Job summary

Kingland seeks a Software Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable software using Go, JavaScript and Vue within our Ames/ Clear Lake, IA, and Fort Myers, FL offices. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate problems into robust solutions.

You’ll contribute to architecture discussions, implement code with best practices, and participate in agile sprints to ship iterative improvements to our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with Go, JavaScript, Vue/React/Angular
• Strong understanding of database design with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with DevOps and clean code practices

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable code for Kingland Platform solutions
• Collaborate in Agile teams delivering increments in short iterations
• Improve engineering practices for quality and velocity
• Automate builds and deployments and run integration tests
