Job summary

Silkline, Inc. is seeking an early engineer to set the technical direction, build the initial product, and talk directly with customers. You will own the architectural roadmap and help scale our platform while delivering an enterprise-ready UI/UX.

This role requires hands-on work from day one, rapid prototyping, and the ability to operate with ambiguity in a seed-stage startup focused on transforming supply chain visibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building across front-end and back-end.
• Experience with modern, open-source tech: Typescript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Trigger.dev.
• Startup or agency experience; bonus if in supply chain; early-stage product experience.

Responsibilities

• Built and led the delivery of the early versions of the Silkline platform, piloting with initial customers.
• Helped define strategy and evolution of the business.
• Influenced new product and feature design while outlining a long-term technical roadmap.
• Designed and implemented platform integrations with external APIs, partners, and cloud infrastructure.
• Built something scrappy to demonstrate customer value and prepared for a scale re-architecture.
