Job summary

Clipbook, Inc. is seeking an engineer to join a small, high-impact team, shaping architecture and technical direction for a product used by 200+ customers. You will work across the stack, collaborating directly with users to address pain points and rapidly deliver value.

The role covers AI/ML integration, data pipelines, and frontend/backend work, with opportunities to grow into engineering leadership as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 2–10+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies.
• Proficiency with web technologies (Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React)
• Genuine excitement to build quickly & ship fast.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with cloud-based services, containerization, and API development.
• Experience optimizing data architectures for performance and cost.
• You take ownership and fix issues proactively.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong product sense and bias for action.
• A future leader who can grow into engineering leadership as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Architect & build across the stack (Next.js, TypeScript, React, Python, Node, SQL/NoSQL).
• Collaborate with customers to understand pain points and iterate rapidly.
• Tackle diverse engineering challenges across AI, data engineering, backend, and frontend.
• Shape engineering culture, drive code quality, standards, testing, and deployment, and mentor future hires.
