Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to join the development team in Annapolis Junction, MD, delivering visualization and presentation tool modernization.

You will build features, sustain capabilities, and support applications enabling mission analytics users to view data and contribute information collaboratively. The role requires Java and Python proficiency, familiarity with Spring Boot and Flask, Git, Maven, and experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience)
• Proficient in Java and Python
• Experience with Git and IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse
• Experience with Maven
• Familiar with Spring Boot and Flask
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud environments (AWS)
• Experience with streaming frameworks (Kafka, Flink) and databases (MongoDB, ArangoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL)

Job Description

• Seeking a Software Engineer to join the software development team who will develop and sustain integrated, feature-rich capabilities that promote modernization of visualization and presentation tools.
• The software development team will provide application development and support to tools that allow mission analytic users to view existing data or contribute new information in a collaborative environment.
