Job summary

Roger Healthcare invites software engineers to join a rapidly growing AI platform focused on delivering life-changing care to home health clinicians. You will scale core backend services, build Generative AI-driven workflows, and connect to LLM models to power real clinical workflows.

The role emphasizes Python backends, FastAPI, MongoDB or Postgres, and deploying with Docker on AWS. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to ship reliable, secure systems while improving observability and code

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid backend fundamentals, preferably in Python (APIs, databases, basic system design).
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS), and building production-grade services.
• Interest in Generative AI and LLM-powered workflows with hands-on experimentation.

We are now looking for Software Engineers to scale the core services that power our platform and build entirely new Generative AI and LLM-driven workflows that clinicians will depend on every day.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship backend services using FastAPI with MongoDB or Postgres




• Help build APIs and infrastructure that connect to LLMs and Generative AI models




• Use AI-assisted development tools to move faster while keeping quality high

You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience




• Solid backend fundamentals, ideally in Python (APIs, databases, basic system design)




• Curiosity about Generative AI and LLM-powered products, and hands-on experimentation with them (personal projects count)




• Familiarity with tools like Docker or cloud platforms, or a real interest in learning them




• Comfort using AI coding tools and the judgment to review and verify what they produce




• A product mindset and willingness to ask questions, take feedback, and work with cross-functional teammates




• Ownership over your work and care for reliability, clarity, and maintainability
