Job summary

Roger is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to scale core services powering our AI-driven healthcare platform. You will build backend systems with FastAPI using MongoDB and Postgres, and interface with Generative AI models and LLMs in production.

You will mentor juniors and collaborate with senior engineers as we scale. You will ship complex backend services, improve observability, and deploy on Docker/AWS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• 2+ years shipping features in high-growth startups (preferred).
• Experience designing distributed systems or data-heavy backends.
• Experience with Generative AI/LLM-powered systems in production or strong interest.
• Product mindset and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving quickly without sacrificing quality.
• High standards for reliability, clarity, and maintainability.

What You'll Do

• Ship complex backend services using FastAPI, MongoDB/Postgres
