Job summary

Lendbuzz is hiring a front-end-focused full-stack Software Engineer to build intuitive user experiences while contributing to backend services.

You will own features from design through deployment, collaborating with design, product, and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-performance systems. A background in Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful APIs is expected, with a strong emphasis on TDD and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years building modern, scalable React-based web applications; Next.js is a plus.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design.
• Solid understanding of OOP and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks; Experience with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure.
• Bonus: NestJS, WebSockets, Ruby on Rails, and/or Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of agile software development, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and evolve high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, focusing on usability and scalability.
• Contribute to backend services using Node.js and NestJS, supporting RESTful APIs and workflows.
• Apply OOP principles and modern JavaScript (ES6+) to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

You will play a key role in developing and scaling our underwriting team experience, owning features from design through deployment and collaborating closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver scalable, high-performance systems.
