Job summary
DRW is seeking a Software Engineer for Cumberland/FICCO Front Office Systems in Chicago. You will embed with Cumberland and FICC trading desks, building specialized tools and ultimately scaling production systems across desks.
The role requires deep knowledge of C++ and Python, experience with low-latency, Linux-based systems, and collaboration with traders and engineers to deliver robust, performant solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in C++ and Python, with multi-language capability.
- Direct work with end customers to deliver production systems in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to dive deep into complex problems, identify risks early and reduce complexity.
- Excellent communication with stakeholders and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Work with front office trading tools for Cumberland/FICCO desks.
- Own products from prototype to production.
- Embed with trading desks and extract domain models for ergonomic solutions.
- Build and maintain the central trading platform.
- Work across languages (C++, Python, TypeScript).
- Provide on-call support as needed.
