Description:

ACTIVE TS/SCI REQUIRED for this POSITION!
TapHere is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Software Engineer, Framework Integration to join our dynamic team in supporting space domain mission applications. The selected candidate will define, develop, and sustain the program’s Integration Framework and provide technical leadership for cross-team integration activities.

Experience Required:

• Establish integration processes, define environment baselines, resolve complex or cross-team integration issues, and lead interface validation strategies.


• Provide integration planning, risk identification, schedule alignment, and ensure all integration artifacts, baselines, and issue resolutions are complete


• Research, design, and development of software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development.


• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of software products


• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application


• Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system


• Contribute to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure software performed meets program cost, schedule, and technical constraints


• Active TS SCI


• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience or graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Skills Required:

• Proficient knowledge of software engineering and practical knowledge of project management


• Capable of some project/process management


• Strong communication skills


• Shows initiative to recommend enhancements to systems and processes and achieve operational targets


• Proficient with development of software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
