Job summary

Ожидается 1–3 года опыта, умение писать чистый код, работать с SQL и читать чужой код, а также желание развиваться в условиях удалённой работы из Северной Ирландии. В коллективе ценятся коммуникации и совместная работа в разных часовых поясах.

Qualifications

• Требуется степень бакалавра в области Computer Science, Software Engineering или эквивалентный практический опыт.
• 1–3 года опыта профессиональной разработки ПО или значительный портфолио реализованных проектов.
• Умение работать с C# и .NET, чтение чужого кода.
• Опыт создания веб-интерфейсов; React и TypeScript приветствуются, любой современный фреймворк — допустим.

Responsibilities

• Освоить домен BrandX и технолог stack, наладить отношения с брендами и финансовыми партнёрами.
• Разрабатывать небольшие–средние фичи от требований до релиза с поддержкой старших инженеров.
• Писать код по стандартам команды и участвовать в code review как автор и рецензент.
• Строить надёжное и поддерживаемое ПО с тестовым покрытием в зависимости от риска изменения.
• Учавствовать в конвейере поставки: тесты, CI и практики развёртывания.
• Использовать Claude Code и GitHub Copilot как основное средство разработки; расширять их возможности.
• Разбирать и исправлять продакшн-ошибки, понимать как системы взаимодействуют.
• Участвовать в командных церемониях: стояния, ретроспективы, делиться обновлениями и обратной связью.
• Учиться у команды через обучения и игровые дни, осваивать инструменты и процессы Olo.
• Принимать участие в дежурстве на колуще, с ростом ответственности по мере освоения систем.

Olo is a restaurant technology provider with an open SaaS platform for ordering, payments, and guest engagement. Its solutions help restaurant brands increase orders, streamline operations, and improve the guest experience.

• Learn the BrandX domain and technology stack, and build relationships with brands, Finance partners, and Order Engineering teams
• Own small-to-medium features end to end, from understanding requirements to shipping them, with support from senior engineers when needed
• Write code to team standards and participate in code reviews as both an author and reviewer
• Build reliable, maintainable software with test coverage appropriate to the risk of each change
• Contribute to the delivery pipeline, including test coverage, CI, and deployment practices
• Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as default development tools and help expand their capabilities on the team
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues while learning how the systems fit together
• Participate in team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and retrospectives, and share updates and feedback
• Take part in learning activities, including game days and training sessions, to learn Olo’s tools and processes
• Join the on-call rotation, taking on more responsibility as familiarity with the team’s systems grows

Требования:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1 To 3 years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects
• Working knowledge of C# and .NET, and ability to read unfamiliar code
• Some experience building web UIs; React and TypeScript are used, but any modern framework is a suitable starting point
• Comfortable with SQL and relational data, including understanding how data moves between systems
• Understand unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and when to use each
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code daily, understand the fundamentals behind their output, and be eager to expand their use
• Ask questions early, document information, and work comfortably with colleagues in other time zones
