Job summary

Olo is hiring a Software Engineer on the Menu team, part of the Order engineering group. You’ll build and maintain real-time menu systems, focusing on performance and reliability in a distributed architecture.

You’ll work remotely from Northern Ireland as part of a Belfast hub strategy, collaborating with product and engineering colleagues. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software engineering, strong .NET/C#, and experience with CI/CD and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in .NET/C# and capable of implementing moderately complex features.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TeamCity).
• Testing with NUnit/Jest and TDD principles.
• Distributed systems knowledge: Redis, Kafka, AWS.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• Handle small-to-medium features and take ownership with guidance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews.
