Job summary

FT Partners in San Francisco is seeking a Software Engineer to help build FT Base, our firm's data ecosystem and AI tooling, in a hybrid SF office. The stack includes Python, Django DRF, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and API design; you will deliver stable features with attention to maintainability and scalability, contributing to enterprise AI initiatives.

Qualifications include 2 years in web-application engineering or related path; strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years as a Software Engineer in a web application environment OR
• 2 years as a Software Engineer and reputable boot camp certification OR
• Computer Science degree (4 year) and some projects or work experience to show

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in the context and business requirements of each system area
• Execute on instructions to build new features, or improve, refactor, clean up or delete features
• Make recommendations on progressing projects you are close to, sometimes in growth, sometimes in simplification
• Help review applications prototyped outside of engineering and help steer, rebuild, or secure these
