Job summary

FT Partners is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to build high quality applications and advance AI development methods. The role centers on FT Base, a Python/Django/Typescript/React stack with PostgreSQL, powering data ecosystem and enterprise AI tooling.

You will work to deliver stable features, reduce technical debt, and strengthen the software suite for sustained impact while collaborating across teams in our San Francisco office.

Qualifications

• 2 years as a Software Engineer in a web application environment or
• 2 years as a Software Engineer with reputable boot camp certification or
• Computer Science degree (4 year) with some projects or work experience

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in the context and business requirements of each system area.
• Execute on instructions to build new features or improve, refactor, or clean up existing ones.
• Recommend progress on projects, balancing growth and simplification, and align with other areas.
• Review externally prototyped applications and help steer, rebuild, or secure them.
