Job summary

F2, redefining financial AI platforms, seeks a hands-on Staff Software Engineer to build from 0‑1 and ship production systems across the stack in San Francisco. You will work with the founding team to architect, build, and deploy features powering AI‑driven enterprise analytics from UI to backend.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software leadership building mission-critical systems.
• Experience architecting products and systems from the ground up.
• Full-stack fluency with React/Next.js and Python/Node.js.
• Proficiency with Postgres, Redis, Temporal, SQS, Kafka.
• Experience with SOC 2 security and data isolation.
• Ability to ship production-ready features end-to-end.
• Collaborative cross-functional partner to product and design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and AI layers.
• Define and execute the technical architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Build AI-driven experiences including document processing and analytics.
• Ensure security, SOC 2 compliance, and secure data flows.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, deployment, observability, and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and foster reliable, high-velocity development.
• Collaborate with product and customers to translate requirements into solutions.
