Job summary

Mondrian Alpha seeks a software engineer to join the technology group supporting cash, collateral, settlements, and liquidity operations for a global multi-strategy fund.

You will design, build, and maintain systems enabling cash movement, collateral handling, and settlement workflows across trading strategies, partnering with middle office to automate processes and ensure data accuracy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience building software for financial operations, back-office, or middle office functions at a fund, bank, or financial services firm.
• Comfort working directly with non-engineering stakeholders to scope and ship solutions.
• Experience in data-driven, time-sensitive environments with high accuracy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain systems that support cash management, collateral, and settlement workflows across multiple trading strategies.
• Partner with middle office operations to translate manual processes into reliable software.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and reconciliation tooling used daily by operations and risk teams.
• Debug and resolve production issues in time-sensitive, critical systems.
• Contribute to architecture decisions as tooling scales across strategies and asset classes.
