ServiceNow’s Cloud Cost Management (CCM) engineering team is hiring a software engineer to build AI-native apps on the ServiceNow AI platform. You will help customers understand and optimize public cloud infrastructure, turn product workflows into LL M-driven experiences, and ship scalable, high-quality code.

You will collaborate with product owners, implement tests, and contribute to new features while enhancing the existing product suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in CS or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Java or similar OO language.
• Experience integrating AI into work processes or decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (Anthropic, OpenAI).
• Strong data structures, algorithms, OO design, and design patterns.
• Hands-on SQL/RDBMS knowledge.
• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure).
• Interest in AI/Agentic AI with evals, observability, and cost/latency tuning.
• Familiarity with large data tech like Flink.

Responsabilités

Join the CCM (Cloud Cost Management) engineering team in ServiceNow’s IT Asset Management suite!

As a member of the CCM Engineering team, you’ll be working on cutting-edge ServiceNow AI platform to build help AI natives apps, helping customers understand and optimize their public cloud infrastructure.

What you get to do in this role:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalableand reusable code by enforcing bestpractices around softwareengineering architecture andprocesses (Code Reviews, Unittesting, etc.)
• Work with the productowners to understand detailedrequirements and own your codefrom design, implementation, testautomation and delivery of high-quality product to ourusers.
• Design softwarethat is simple touse to allow customers toextend and customize thefunctionality to meet their specific needs
• Design and ship agentic and GenAI features that turn product workflows into LLM-driven experiences, with tool use, guardrails, evals, and monitoring built in from day one.
• Help design and implement new products andfeatures while also enhancing theexisting productsuite

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Bachelors (w/ 3-5 years of experience), or Masters (w/ 2-3 years of experience) degreein Computer Science, or related Field
• 2+ years of experience with Java or asimilar OO language, Java Script / Type Script etc.
• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• Hands on experiencewith LLMs (Anthropic, OpenAI), including prompting for analysis, generating code, and structured outputs
• In depth knowledge with data structures,algorithms, object-oriented design,design patterns, andperformance/scale considerations
• Hands on knowledge of RDBMS/SQL.
• Exposure to any public cloud providers like AWS, Azure etc is added benefit.
• Passionate about Ai / Agentic AI , Building agents with evals, observability, and cost/latency tuning
• Preferred Experience /knowledge in Large data handling techs like Flink

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $125,700 - $194,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
