Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a recent Computer Science graduate to join our software team in Boston. You’ll develop, test, and support applications under guidance from senior developers, learning the full software lifecycle.

You’ll work on equity portfolio construction tooling and analytics, collaborating with product partners and business users to deliver practical technical solutions while growing skills in C#, Python, and SQL, and contributing to production-quality code and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or math is required.
• 0–4 years of software development experience.
• Foundational skills in C#, Python, SQL.
• Willingness to learn and grow in software engineering and finance tech.
• Ability to take direction and work in a mentored environment.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative team player with peers.
• Exposure to APIs, data integration or DevOps is a plus.
• Interest in financial services or front-office tech is a plus.
• Interest in AI tools to aid development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and support software under guidance of senior developers.
• Learn and contribute across the software development lifecycle.
