Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, write, test, and deploy high-quality code for reliable software solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams including platform engineers, product teams, and data scientists to ensure solutions meet business goals.

You will monitor production systems, optimize performance, and provide mentorship to junior engineers, helping cultivate a collaborative, learning-focused engineering culture.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in software development.
• Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL for web services.
• Experience with AWS core services (S3, Lambda, EC2).
• Strong understanding of design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with databases like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Postgres, DynamoDB.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Exposure to ML frameworks or AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities
