Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts is seeking a seasoned software engineer to participate in our enterprise application development lifecycle. You will work across teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions, with a focus on Java/Angular, AWS, and data integration.

Bring 5+ years of experience, OO design expertise, and strong debugging skills. Collaborate with Delivery Engineers, Solution Architects, PMs, and QA to shorten development cycles and accelerate time to market.

Qualifications

• OO design principles are required.
• Java or C# are acceptable.
• Angular experience is required.
• AWS (IaaS and/or SaaS) experience.
• AWS Lambda experience.
• XML, XSD and XSLT knowledge.
• JSON data handling.
• SOAP and REST services experience.
• PostgreSQL and SQL Server experience.
• Experience with ALM tools (Jira, GitLab, Artifactory or equivalents).
• Knowledge of 509 certificates, JWTs, OAuth and related security measures.
• Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree or significant equivalent experience.
• Strong engineering background with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong technical aptitude and understands the software development lifecycle and architecture.
• Collaborates in Agile teams and uses Jira/Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Debugs, troubleshoots, and validates data flows across enterprise applications.
• Creates and updates technical engineering documentation and runbooks.
• Communicates effectively with Delivery Engineers, Solution Architects, PMs, QA and App Engineers.
