Job summary

Range Generation Next Llc seeks a Software Engineer Professional for Kwajalein Atoll. You will support software engineering efforts across RTR products, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful integration and validation of new software releases.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, OOP proficiency, and strong problem-solving skills. Relocation to Kwajalein Atoll is required with the potential for overseas tax incentives and housing arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM discipline.
• Zero (0) or more years experience.
• Must have DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II (Security+, CySA+, GICSP) or equivalent.
• Must obtain DoD IAT Level II Linux+ or Server+ within 3 months of start date.
• Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based OS such as RHEL.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support software engineering efforts to design, implement, and test software on RTR products.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure integration and validation of new releases.
• Support RTR software products including Optics, Radar, Telemetry, and Space Surveillance Software.
• Maintain existing projects and remediate critical bugs to prevent code rot.
• Produce Static Code Analysis reports and address cyber vulnerabilities.
• Support Reagan Test Range missions and RTR technical projects.
• Participate in IRBs to triage reports and feature requests.
