Job summary

RGNext seeks an Engineering Technician II for an overseas assignment on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. You will provide transmitter operations, maintenance, and support for RF systems and related hardware.

The role requires ascent to heights up to 50 ft, relocation to Kwajalein, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance; citizenship and passport are required. Benefits include housing and meals as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or 2 years of related military electronics training.
• Two or more years of electronics technician experience including high voltage, high power and RF transmission.
• Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 50 ft.
• Climber II Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must relocate to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. passport.
• Occasional non-duty hours or weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Provide transmitter operations and maintenance support for C-Band and Ka-Band radar systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair hardware components.
• Support transmitter operations including daily warm-ups, satellite tracks and range test operations.
• Run system diagnostics and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist hardware engineers on I&M projects for receivers, transmitters, servos, and antennas.
• Assemble, wire and bench-test components and subassemblies.
• Install new equipment and advise on configuration and performance.
• Maintain calibration databases, fixtures and assemblies using COTS components.
• Climb structures up to 50 feet and perform related duties as assigned.
