The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Software Engineer-Developer to support the Satellite Space Mission Systems team in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying mission software using Java, C++, Python, and ReactJS across cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities include end-to-end software lifecycle, architecture and interfaces, and participation in agile planning and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, hardware engineers, and program managers
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation in complex software environments
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (Interim prestart, final post start)

The Boeing Company is currently seeking Software Engineer-Developer (Experienced / Senior) to support our Satellite Space Mission Systems Software Team located in El Segundo, CA. In this role, the individual will support the development of mission software written in Java, C++, Python, ReactJS. The individual will collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions, ensure engineering excellence, and achieve program objectives. This position will support the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization.

We are seeking Software Engineers-Developers that are passionate about space and excited to work in a multi-disciplined, collaborative engineering environment that supports the design, development, and implementation of software for existing and emerging Boeing commercial and government space programs.

This exciting software engineer position requires demonstrated experience within the software ecosystem, a diverse background of project experience, and the clear exhibition of superior judgment and decision making to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of multiple software programming projects. Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required.

Required Skills

Pay Rate Range

106 - 113 USD hourly
